Arise International Christian Centre
Winning Souls sending disciples
Rodney M Bholan
Rodney M Bholan is the founder and Pastor of Arise International Christian Centre. A new young church based in the heart of North London with a strong desire to bring the Gospel to the unsaved and operate a church that is not limited by 4 walls.
Before answering the call Rodney was born in Highbury and Islington North London to a Caribbean father and Creole Mauritian mother. He became saved at the Mission to London crusade in August 1996 held by Doctor Morris Cerullo aged just 20 years old and went on to serve in various areas of ministry at The Kingsway International Christian Centre between 1996 and 2003.
He served in technical areas, ushering, alter work, counselling and even assisted in the running of a home group. He attended Bible school at Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh Indiana and holds a Batchelor of arts in biblical studies. At aged 21 his Pastor, Reverend Matthew Ashimolowo prophesied that God would one day use him in Ministry.
From aged 27 to 30 he briefly also worshipped at Glory House London where he briefly served before answering the call of God to pioneer Arise. The main area of his ministry is to declare the Kingdom of God beyond the four walls of the church. He believes that souls cannot be saved if we hide our faith. Christianity cannot thrive if believers are not united and the church cannot progress without taking the territory that belongs to God in the first place.
He is the author of the book What’s Race got to do with it. A brief but powerful book that looks to examine the rise of Black led churches in the United Kingdom and addressing both Black and White stereotypes. How the media has created various stereotypes and how we must rid ourselves of stereotypes in order to progress. He is also actively involved in business along with his wife and also is involved in real estate in the United Kingdom.
Rodney has sought to bring Arise International Christian centre as a ministry under the ministers’ together programme fathered by Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo. Rodney attends this event every 2 months to receive guidance and counsel and spiritual covering.
He is married to Stanella who came from Sierra Leone in 1991 aged 14 to complete her education in Law at the University of Middlesex. She is currently the founder and Director of a janitorial company that serves many clients in London and beyond as well as sitting on the board of trustees for Arise. They have one son named Jehoshaphat
